Cost Of Living Philippines: Live Like A King At Only A Thousand Dollars Every Month

This article is for folks who are wondering how to retire to Philippines.

Fortunately, there are a few parts on earth in which you can stay quite a bit under $1000 and one of them is the Philippines. So, remembering the Philippines living expenses, just how far can your $1000 go if you're wondering how to retire in Philippines?

1. The $300 rent

You can easily rent out a good flat or a residence for merely $300 per month in metropolitan cities such as Cebu and Davao, not including the home furniture. You could rent out a fully-furnished flat if you're prepared to pay for a little more.

2. The $200 food budget

When you're living by yourself or together with your Filipino spouse, you can have a food spending budget of $200 a month. Obviously, it doesn't pay for eating at a Hilton accommodation (yes, one can find Hilton hotels in the Philippines).

3. The $12 hospital trip

Skip the general community clinics, dropping by reliable private clinics in places similar to Cebu will set you back only $12 in doctor's fees. In case you are on prescription medication, you will find chain store drugstores that retail prescription medication from America besides other countries.

Summing all this, the living expenses in the Philippines is significantly much less than in remote locations in Asia. The advantage of it is the fact that the Philippine authority offers unique program for foreign seniors called the Special Resident Retirees Visa (SRRV).

Furthermore, if you're married to a Filipino lady, you can make an application for a 13A visa, or 13B visa if you are not married and simply want to retire to the Philippines.
